**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will use a microscope, tweezers, and small hand tools to inspect materials, as well as work-in-process and finished semiconductor chips, ensuring they conform to customer, company, and industry standard requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect materials for conformance to specifications and standards.
+ Document non-conformances according to company procedures.
+ Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment as required and directed.
+ Collect inspection data as required.
+ Write certificates of conformance.
+ Participate in internal and external Quality Management System audits.
**Essential Skills**
+ Prior experience working as a Quality Inspector specifically in the quality department.
+ Experience performing quality inspection.
+ Experience with microscope inspection.
+ Manual inspection experience (automated inspection experience will not work).
+ Understanding of drawings/diagrams to identify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Experience in electronics, quality assurance, QC testing, and document control.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1-2 years minimum experience in a Quality position.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to document reports.
+ Ability to read and understand technical documentation/travelers (customer requirements, manufacturing instructions, etc).
+ Good hand-eye coordination, ability to work under a microscope 100% of the time.
+ Ability to use inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, etc).
+ High level of communication to work with other departments.
+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

**Work Environment**
The job is based in an ITAR facility and requires working in a cleanroom environment. The dress code includes wearing full PPE, gloves, a lab coat, a face mask, and shoe covers. The environment is casual but requires adherence to cleanroom standards.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Escondido, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
