Job Summary

This position is responsible for opening and closing the community center and checking entire facility and grounds for safe operational conditions. This is a part-time temporary position. Position is available during the evenings and weekends.

Essential Job Functions

Monitors patrons and ensures the center rules are followed and the patron's behavior is appropriate. Actively engages in age appropriate activities with children and exhibits positive images to patrons.Provides equipment for user groups and ensures services meet the needs of the users. Verifies valid memberships, responds to customer inquiries, and responsible for equipment set-up and breakdown. When needed assists with processing program registrations, ticket sales and handling of money.

Qualifications

This position requires computer skills, customer service experience and experience working with large groups of people. Ability to carry 50 lbs. High School graduate or equivalency required. CPR & First Aid Certification is required. Valid driver's license in the State of Maryland preferred. All staff must meet health requirements as defined by Maryland State Guidelines and have a criminal background clearance.
