Regional Category Manager, Capex (m/f/x)

As a successful Regional Category Manager, you manage the Capex categories in the European region, focusing especially on supporting the German entities.

Within this, you are responsible for the development and execution across the entire CSL Group for the allocated categories and region to ensure best value for CSL while managing risk and maintaining compliance in sourcing practices.

The Opportunity

Strategic Planning and Implementation: Developing and implementing annual action plans for relevant categories based on the Global Category Strategy and other relevant business strategies within CSL to reduce total cost of ownership, mitigate risks, and drive innovation, customer service, compliance, and qualityCategory Management and Sourcing Leadership: Defining and implementing effective category management strategies, leading key sourcing activities and negotiations with major suppliers to achieve lower cost of ownership, reduced risks, higher quality, and better supply performanceSupplier Relationship and Risk Management: Establishing and managing SRM processes with suppliers in the category, including risk management strategies as per global policies, to enhance supplier relationships, drive innovation, and minimize costs, while ensuring supply, quality, and continuous improvementEmployee Leadership and Transformation: Functionally leading and developing employees within the Procurement matrix organization, focusing on long-term talent development, succession planning, and performance management, while participating in global transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver targeted benefits

Your Skills and Experience

Academic degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing with technical or engineering focus, or other relevant experience in sourcing/managing production equipment, capital projects, and/or managing complex services, such as maintenance, hard FM services or equivalentDemonstrated strong negotiation skills in various categories and/or industriesStrong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, build consensus, and motivate team members across multiple projects and countriesSolid Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Relationship Management knowledge
