Regional Director of Sales

Pacifica Hotel Company is looking for a Regional Director of Sales to join the team! The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for the team leadership, financial results, market share and sales culture of all hotels within the assigned region.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
• This position sets high expectations for proactive sales efforts that translate to financial results and provides verbal & written direction and benchmarks for achieving those results in support of the company’s mission, goals, and objectives daily.
• Leads by example and with integrity.
• Provides communication synergy between the corporate office and the hotels.
• Ability to communicate effectively in ownership meetings and group settings with detailed financial/revenue, revenue management, marketing, and competitive analysis expertise.
• Continual communication with the Hotel General Managers, Directors of Sales, Sales & Catering Team Members, and corporate support personnel to ensure that priorities for sales, marketing, team leadership and development, and revenue generation are attended to daily.
• Ensure that all hotels in the region are in compliance with applicable Brand standards and foster positive Brand relations.
• Manage priorities while multi-tasking and providing follow-up to the necessary details.
• Monitor changing competitive conditions, implement and communicate changes as needed in a timely manner.
• Budgeting, forecasting, planning, sales development, contract negotiating, vendor relations and pricing, and other related business management skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain a motivating, positive work environment that holds team members accountable for the results.
• Identify and help develop future leadership.
• Develop and implement well defined strategies to improve profitability at each hotel that are in synch with the company’s defined objectives.
• More than fifty percent of the work time is spent en-route or on-site at the hotels. Significant time is spent in auto travel (and potentially air travel) and away from home and office.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000

Supervisory Responsibility: Dotted line supervision of Directors of Sales and Regional Sales Managers for assigned properties.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Strong English skills, both oral and written. Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills required. Proven results for exceeding budget and sales goals. Ability to work a highly flexible schedule including weekends and Holidays, along with extensive travel away from home and office. Valid Driver's License with proof of auto liability insurance. Reliable transportation. Dependable and bondable.
