Regional Sales Manager - Pacific Northwest

NV** **, WA, OR, AK** **Industrial & Construction** **Group** Regional Sales Manager, Electrical Distribution, Industrial, OEM, reporting to the Vice President of Sales. This position requires significant end-user demand creation focus to create a pull through effect for our distribution channel partners. The outside sales position services customers, identifies potential opportunities and sells product within company set margins.  Identify current and future project opportunities and gain approval for Prysmian Group wire and cable products within the territory, primarily in the Industrial & Construction portfolio by working face to face with electrical contractors, EPCs, Engineering companies, end users and distribution. This role will require approximately 25% travel. The successful candidate will be located within the territory and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of consistently performing at or above sales plan. A history of successfully managing a multi-state territory and implementing local strategies with electrical sales agent(s) a plus. + Establish primary relationships with our customer (Electrical Distributors, contractors, end users, and OEMs) and maintain an ethical and professional relationship with all customer and external contacts. + Identify opportunities to grow and maintain day to day business across the Industrial & Construction portfolio. + Identify opportunities for cross selling opportunities betweenIndustrial & Construction and other Prysmian groups. + Develop new accounts within all customer classifications. + Develop and maintain customer programs, suggested pricing levels, co-op advertising programs. + Work closely with group Inside Sales and Project Department to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. + Coordinate and conduct product training events with Distributors, Contractors, Engineers, End Users & OEM’s. + Close coordination with product market managers, including pricing decisions, product introduction, and inventory decisions. + Analyze market to determinebest commercial and service approach. + Coordinate customer needs with the appropriate internal departments, such as credit, manufacturing, engineering, etc. + Participate in regional trade shows as needed (coordinate and set-up) + Coordinate customer discrepancies and returns with creditdepartment. + Work with all product/market channels to assist in the forecasting and selling of all communications products. + Generate market intelligence. + Assist in development of sales plans, operational plans, and strategic plans. + Fully communicate and coordinate our customers’ needs and concerns. + Utilize CRM software, currently, Salesforce, to maintain a project pipeline and develop strategic accounts. + Communicate professionally in all verbal and written correspondence.  **Who are we looking for?** **Required** **qualifications.** + BA/BS + Valid driver’s license + 3-5 years sales experience within the electrical industry **Preferred qualifications** **/skills** + Knowledge Industrial and commercial wire and cable products + Experience managing Agents + Knowledge of oil & gas project business a plus + Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel + CRM Utilization (Salesforce a plus) _Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
