Job Description SummaryPerforms M-Mode, 2D, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac doppler studies and stress echoes. Assists in scheduling outpatients and completes all necessary paperwork for echocardiography.
Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:

Required

High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a formal training program in Echocardiography. RCS / RDMS certified. Maintain BCLS certification.

Preferred

1.         Three years experience in Echocardiography.    

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.

SKILLS:

Basic typing and computer skills. Basic knowledge of all equipment. Ability to recognize severely abnormal or potentially life threatening anatomy. Ability to perform interpretable M-Mode, 2D, transthoracic echocardiograms and cardiac dopplers of diagnostic quality. Ability to assist with transesophageal echocardiograms. Ability to respond promptly to any critical situations.
