GiaCare is now accepting resumes for a civilian Registered Nurse (RN) to work full-time in anticipation for a future position at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas.

Position Qualifications:

Education: Minimum, Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by (NLNAC), or (CCNE) or the (ANCC).Experience: RNs must have at least three (3) years full-time experienceLicensure/Registration: RNs must possess a current, active, full and unrestricted license in any U.S. State or jurisdiction.Certification: Active BLS. May be required to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support. 

RN Core Duties:

Nursing duties will include, but not limited to, preparing plans for patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patients’ wellbeing, teaching patients and staff, and maintaining medical records.Provide immunizations; and treat patients within scope of practice.All nurses will be responsible for managing physical needs, preventing illness, treating health conditions, and providing healthcare support to our beneficiaries.
