Registered Nurse (RN)
Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana
The Staff RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Community Healthcare System policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of CHS. Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau. BSN desirable. Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs. Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care). Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
Will work a minimum two clinical focus areas
32-56 or more hours/bi-weekly (0.4-0.7) fte
40 hours weekend shift per 6-week schedule
40 hours off shift per 6-week schedule
2 major holidays per year
(1 summer/1 winter)
Plus one other high request days
RN (A) $41 per hour
RN (B) $42 per hour
Annual eval but no annual merit, float rate is a flat base rate that will be evaluated periodically.
Shift Differential – Paid at the prevailing rate for evenings and nights
Non-Benefited FTE’s receive $2 weekend shift differential
Benefited FTE’s receive $4 weekend shift differential
