The Senior Manager provides oversight of quality and regulatory compliance for the Stem Cell Transplant and Cell Therapy Program (SCTCT) and acts as a liaison with cell therapy Collection and Processing Laboratory. This position will be responsible to ensure the SCTCT Program meets the standards and requirements of external agencies such as Joint Commission, FACT and FDA. Responsible for on-going readiness for accreditation. Provides supervision and performance management to the SCT Data Coordinator(s) and responsible for overseeing data management and data reporting requirements for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplantation Research (CIBMTR) and National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)/Be The Match (BTM),

The successful candidate:

Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer with dotted line reporting to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cell Therapy Program Medical Director and Director of Nursing.Provides leadership oversight in the areas of daily operations, cost management, capital and operating budgets, program development and quality management.Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance operations, clinical outcomes, patient experience and program growth.Will assure delivery of safe patient care in a complex, acuity adaptable environment.Collaborates with physicians, APPs, nursing, facility wide multidisciplinary teams including clinical leaders, hospitalists, clinic, pharmacy, lab, radiology services, case management, social work, and safety to ensure seamless patient care across all areas. Has direct report responsibility over Stem Cell Clinic, Stem Cell Inpatient, Care Management, NMDP program, stem cell front line leaders and data manager.Direct oversight over NMDP coordinators and Apheresis nursesDevelop and implement quality management performance measurement system and data management infrastructure, processes, procedures, guidelines, and tools that will be used to monitor and evaluate the overall performance and effectiveness of COH Chicago Stem Cell program in conjunction with Medical Director and CNOParticipate in enterprise-level quality initiatives, develop, and submit timely reports required by accreditation and regulatory agencies, and registries such as the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Registry (CIBMTR).

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

Minimum 5-year experience in hospital healthcare setting leadership, quality, regulatory compliance, research, and or data management  Minimum 5-years Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance experience in Bone Marrow Transplantation/Cellular Therapy Program; FACT Accreditation Standards-Preferred.MSN and 5 years of progressive oncology experience. 3 years as departmental leader or program coordinator or manager role.Master’s Degree in Quality Management or Quality Assurance or Nursing Certification  and 5 years in leadership-PreferredCurrent IL RN LicenseLeadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, MS office, data management and statistical analysis programs, electronic health record system, policy and procedure writing/system, QC/QA.Deviation/CAPA Management System-Preferred
