Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is accepting applications for a relief / part time, Emergency and Critical Care Clinician to provide support for our multi-disciplinary, specialty practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. We have a well-established and well staffed Emergency and Critical Care Service that operates round-the-clock. Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists was established in West Palm Beach in 1998 and has developed from a mobile surgery service into a full-service, multi-disciplinary, specialty-only practice. We reside within a new, award winning (2015 Hospital of the Year) 34,000 sq. ft. physical plant (operating 24/7/365) that boasts an in-house national reference laboratory and a blood bank. Specialty equipment to include 2 ultrasound machines, Bird Ventilator, on-site MRI (1.5T) and CT (64 slice) machines and two radiology suites. Nuclear Medicine capabilities include I131 treatment and Linear Accelerator. Our advanced-design physical plant and service capability brings a level of sophistication to our practice that is unmatched in south Florida. The Hospital is also home to the Palm Coast Education Center that includes a 125 seat auditorium, large conference room and meeting hall that are used to provide continuing education programs for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. In addition to our team of ER/ECC doctors, our staff of specialists includes three Surgeons, two Internists, a Neurologist, a Radiation Oncologist and Ophthalmologist.
