This position will be a research role to perform analysis of the hemocompatibility of cardiovascular biomaterials. The responsibilities include the execution of in vitro assays, which may include human blood handling, and the optimization in in vitro and ex vivo blood flow studies.

Function/Duties of Position In vitro assays. Isolate platelets and plasma. Run thrombogenicity testing of materials.Data analysis.Assist in performing the shunt studies.Assist in the maintenance of lab safety protocols and equipment.Maintaining lab and lab equipment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in relevant field ORAssociate's AND 3 years of relevant experience OR4 years of relevant experience OREquivalent combination of training and experience Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in a lab environment with blood  handlingPlatelet isolation; Able to work independently, be self-motivated All are welcome Oregon Health & Science University values a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
