Research Marketing Analyst assists to maximize station revenue & ratings opportunities. This position is part of a fast-paced team, is responsible for daily research communication to all department managers and will take complete ownership of their tasks and projects and see them through until delivered.

Overseeing, analyzing and maintaining all research information and functions from Nielsen, Comscore, Kantar (Vivvix), Wide Orbit Media Sales and other tools that support and enhance the sales and marketing effectiveness of our brands in the marketplaceProvide valuable research data to Sales, News and Promotions departments. For example, compiling and distributing relevant ratings facts, trends and analysis, ratings successes and challengesPrepare performance reports for managers within deadlines.Creates customized sales and research presentationsGather campaign data for proof of performance presentations for Sales & Marketing clientsCommunicate with department leaders on research findings

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (3 years) in Marketing, Communications, English or Statistics preferredMinimum of 2-3 years of media research experience Knowledgeable about media related software including Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Kantar (Vivvix) and other comparable softwareAbility to learn new software programs quickly on a self-directed training schedule.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProblem-solving and deductive reasoning skillsClear and concise communications both through writing & presentation skillsOrganizational skills for daily responsibilities & special projects for sales and marketing teamKnowledge of media campaigns through linear and digital platformsComfortable presenting alongside a team of account executives and Management on key client meetingsHighly proficient in all Microsoft Office products (WORD, EXCEL & POWERPOINT)

Compensation - $26+/hr commensurate with experience and skill level
