You will perform Resort Wide Systems Engineering activities related to resort wide telecommunications, alarm, and low voltage systems!
In this role, the Resort Wide Systems Engineer will report to the Engineering Design Studio Executive.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with internal partners to identify operational and functional requirements.Translate systems user's functional requirements into design requirements.Support Facility design for equipment details such as utilities including electrical power and equipment cooling/heating loads.Review and authorize for release detailed, layout and design drawings.Resolve design issues and revise systems requirements.Facility the transmittal of inputs to/from designers in the preparation of systems equipment drawings.Insure the checking of systems design drawings.Finalize requirements for network drops and for all telecommunications systems requiring network connectivity.Develop, update and maintain Systems Matrix for telecommunications systems.Provide low voltage systems Contractor support and verification of first article assembly and bench testing.Verify systems installation against drawings and requirements.Identify and resolve installation issues, interferences and other problems.Verify system performance against requirements.Review final low voltage systems Test and Adjust and acceptance testing deliverables against requirements.Required Qualifications & Skills
7 years of more experience in related fieldDemonstrated skill in Telecommunications design and field supportExperience with Field Integration (Test & Adjust) and Engineering AnalysisAbility to adhere to UL / NEC / ASTM standardsProficiency in Smartsheet/AirTable or similar toolsKnowledge of complex telecommunications, alarm, and low voltage systems.Preferred Qualifications
State Professional License in Electrical EngineeringProficiency with Revit or similar modeling toolsFamiliarity with Disney Telecommunications Infrastructure and RWS standardsEducation
Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or Engineering Technology, or other related degree, requiredMaster's Degree preferredThis position is in Glendale, California

The hiring range for this position in California is $113,800 to $152,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
