What We're Looking For:\n

We are seeking a Program Supervisor. The ECE Program Coordinator, the Program Supervisor is primarily responsible for the successful achievement of desired outcomes in alignment with Crystal Stairs' strategic plan by providing effective leadership and direction for the delivery of Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) program and other specially funded projects for the R&R Program. The Supervisor manages a team of QRIS Coaching Specialists and coordinates activities in support of provider professional development. Under the supervision of the ECE Program Coordinator, the Supervisor will be responsible for compliance with related fiscal and programmatic requirements within and between Crystal Stairs and partner agencies and organizations.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n\nWork with ECE Program Coordinator to plan, develop and administer specially funded projects to ensure contract and budget compliance, program implementation and reporting requirements are \nComply with contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures as well as assist in data collection, i.e., Hubbe, KPI's, etc. and\/or analysis to evaluate and\/or enhance program operations and client services.\nOversee the timely submission of required reports to ensure that necessary records, files, and other materials are maintained for efficient conduct of business and contract monitoring review requirements.\nWork with agency\/Coaching staff to provide staff development and training for Specialists as appropriate to meet cross-functional contractual processes and requirements.\nSupport and work with the coaching team to assist providers (e.g. mentor) in developing quality improvement plans\/SMART goals, and selecting appropriate strategies to enhance\/sustain high quality child care.\nRepresent the program and agency at QRIS contractor, partner and\/or community \nmeetings; participate in trainings, work groups, committees, and ad hoc groups, as necessary.\nGrasp an understanding of QRIS models and the constant changes to the ECE delivery system for internal and external customers requesting information and\/or presentations of program services.\nSupervise department personnel Including hiring, instructing, mentoring and motivating\nProvide direction, leadership and coaching to staff members by conducting periodic check-ins and performance appraisals.\nAct as a backup and support R&R Program Services when necessary.\nOther duties as assigned by R&R Program Manager and\/or Senior Management.\n\n\n

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\nBachelor of Science\/Arts degree from an accredited university in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human\/Social Services or related field preferred. Relevant work experience in human services\/child development may be substituted for college level education. Masters' Degree is a PLUS\nMinimum of two to three years' of supervisory experience preferred, two to three years' related experience in early childhood education, child development or working with children in special needs settings. Experience planning, implementing, coordinating major projects that require collaboration and ability to work with adult learners and diverse client and employee populations. \nKnowledge contracts which are funded by the California Department of Education, First 5 LA and various foundations and public entities.\nRequires the exercise of independent discretion and judgment in determining course of action for specific situations.\n\n
