Reporting to the Director, Retirement & Financial Wellness, this position is primarily responsible for daily administration of GEICO’s retirement plans and financial well-being programs. This role will oversee 401(k), pension, non-qualified and financial well-being programs. This candidate will serve as a member of the Total Rewards team and will work closely with internal groups (e.g., HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Controllers, Procurement, Internal Communications) to deliver best-in-class Total Rewards programs and develop an overall strategy for financial well-being for our associates.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with third party administrators, legal and internal parties to ensure the retirement plans are administered in accordance with plan documents and requirements.Be responsible for the support of retirement plans related compliance testing and audits (IRS, Department of Labor and other internal and regulatory requirements).Serve as a point of contact for escalated participant issues requiring specific and accurate retirement plan expertise, and ensure issues are resolved timely.Maintain knowledge of plan processes and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement.Stay abreast of regulatory changes, routinely review plans to ensure compliance, and coordinate any needed communications and notices.Assist in the analysis, data collection, and document review for major retirement plan events.Complete necessary reconciliations as needed.Act as a point of contact for technology and systems operations and issues that impact retirement plan administration.Analyzes and manages data integrations, takes required actions.Serve as subject matter expert for retirement plans for internal partners, HR and vendors.Assist with other projects as required.
