Revit Designer Senior Associate

Position Title: Revit Designer Senior Associate Position Location: Remote - work virtually from anywhere in the United States SALARY DLB recognizes salary ranges from job boards do not necessarily reflect our pay ranges. In many instances we out-compete those ranges for well-qualified candidates.JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY The Revit Designer Senior Associate will support the MEP Engineers and coordinate across various groups and offices. This position will use Revit MEP for production of a variety of projects. The scope of work will involve both small and large-scale mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection projects. This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the project management team to produce construction documents. The Revit Designer Senior Associate will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May work independently or under immediate supervision. May serve as trade lead on routine projects of limited scope. The Revit Designer Senior Associate will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Production of Revit Documents (95%) + Prepare, model and annotate Revit MEP drawings for buildings and constructed facilities under a senior engineer's supervision + Utilize Revit MEP software to prepare drawings and visual aids + Collect data and other information for construction documents + Prepare project design and construction documents + Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management team Reporting (5%) + Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders + Manage personal hours using company tools Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING) + Knowledge of engineering design principles and MEP production + Knowledge of drafting duct systems, electrical, plumbing and piping layouts and design + Skilled in using Revit MEP + Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management + Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail + Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace + Ability to develop Revit MEP families + Ability to develop everything needed in Revit MEP. This includes views, sheets, MEP Settings, Schedules, along with families + Ability to work with engineers, other designers and drafters as part of a design team + Ability to work with engineers to incorporate MEP design into Revit and the ability to understand all parts of engineering contract documents + Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information) + Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision + Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines + Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously PHYSICAL DEMANDS The following physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
