WHAT WE PROVIDE:

This is a Ride Operations Managerial Supervisor position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This leadership position will drive results by overseeing the Rides Team to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of rides and attractions. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the team to drive an exceptional experience to guests and team members. Assists Management Team with strategic planning, fiscal management, team development and support of events and activities, which further the objectives and goals of Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

 

HOW YOU WILL DO IT: Performs all Rides in Charge (206) duties as assigned. Lead by example while performing all duties and responsibilities. Promote Teamwork and an ongoing, supportive learning environment for all Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members. Provides first class Guest Service to include interactions with Guests who are angry or upset. Practices, supports, maintains and enforces a total safety culture for all Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members. Manages all aspects of Ride Operations including staffing, budgeting, ride shutdown response, quality control and all other procedures to ensure the success the Rides Department. Creates and maintains a strong team environment to increase area retention, motivation and morale of Area Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members. Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained within the Rides Department, both daily and long term. Creates and maintains all programs related to Safety, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Appearance and Guest Satisfaction. Uses creative and technical skills to develop new ideas and operational procedures. Create new and exciting initiatives to boost the team’s motivation and overall morale Coordinates and performs training, including department orientation and continuous on the job training. Continuously coach and provide feedback to the seasonal leadership team. Ensure the development and growth of team members, leads and supervisors. Ensures that the entire Team is always prepared and well equipped to perform the functions of their jobs. Adheres to and enforces all park policies. Assists Rides Full Time Supervisors in the day to day operation of the Rides Department and Ride Areas. Performs all other duties as assigned to support the Rides Department and Fiesta Texas.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: A clear demonstration of excellent Guest Service skills and an evident commitment to our Guest First philosophy. A commitment to total safety, and a strong, safety first mentality. A Team First attitude and a people-oriented approach to leadership. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format. Ability to remain calm and collected in stressful situations. Preferred a minimum 3 years theme park experience, including at least 1 year in leadership. Self-starter with the ability to anticipate and manage multiple projects of a varied priority through planning and preparation. The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and essential computer applications. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. A valid State Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a Park Driver’s License upon eligibility
