RN Transporter

Inova Health System’s Fairfax Hospital is looking for a RN Transporter to join our Team. This role is full-time days; 3-12s - 2 transport shift within IFMC & 1 in the ICU (self-scheduling).

Responsibilities: 

The RN Transporter ensures patient safety by following standard processes, maintaining equipment and escalating issues when appropriate.  Keeps patients, families and hospital staff informed of care needs.  Provides safe, timely, and appropriate intra-hospital monitored transport for adult patients. Requirements:

Hours: full-time days; 3-12s - 2 transport shift within IFMC & 1 in the ICU (self-scheduling) Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus Education: BSN or AD (if AD, must complete BSN within 24 months of hire) Experience: At least two – four years of Registered Nurse, clinical and critical care experience with recent acute care setting experience Licensure/Certifications: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse; BLS for Healthcare Provider certification and ACLS required from the American Heart Association
