HDR is looking for a Roadway EIT/Coordinator to join our growing team in Michigan.

Primary Responsibilities

Detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. More specific duties include:Design alignment and profile geometrics, traffic, roadway drainage, development of plans, and construction estimates.Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projectsCoordinating with other project engineers on Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).College graduates with related internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or relevant degreeExperience developing designs using AutoCAD, Microstation or other transportation design software package.Experience with MS Office.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years experience in highway and roadway design.Proficiency in roadway design and engineering/CAD software tools is a plus.Preference given to local candidatesFamiliarity with Michigan DOT standards and policies.EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
