Waste Connections of Canada is looking for a **Garbage Truck Driver (Roll Off Driver)** to join the **Thunder Bay** Team, who shares our number one core value - Safety. As a **Roll Off Driver,** you are responsible for waste and recycling collection services for various businesses. You will ensure that waste and recycling is safely transported and disposed of at designated recycling facilities or landfills. We put our drivers first and we work together by listening, removing barriers, and by providing ongoing coaching and support. **Hourly Pay rate** : $26.75 per hour **Hours** : Mon to Fri from 6AM **Incentives** : + Great Company Benefits & RRSP matching + Annual boot and clothing allowance **Main Duties** + Ensure safe operation of a standard transmission truck, while driving, loading, and unloading + Drive to customer location for pickup, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift + Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service + Pre/Post-trip inspection **Requirements** + Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience + DZ Driver’s License with an air-brake endorsement + Excellent spatial skills to position vehicles and bins effectively and drive accident free + Good knowledge of Thunder Bay and the surrounding area + Physically able to climb in and out of the truck to unlock/lock bins (or roll recycling containers) and to clean out truck after dumping contents _Waste Connections of Canada is an equal opportunity employer_ .
