About this Role

The Safety coordinator manages the overall safety, health, and training of each project assigned.  In addition, this position oversees on-site personnel from a safety perspective, including any safety representatives assigned to projects.  This position is the primary point of contact for safety-related programs/incidents and client interfaces.

What You'll Do Leads project safety, training, and health initiatives for each project assigned.Oversees subcontractor and vendor on-site personnel from a safety perspective.Proactively helps and supports crew members to achieve a safe work environment. Collaborates with Construction operations to support weekly safety meetings.Conducts project observations. Communicates with client safety representatives. Conduct safety onboarding training for new crew members.Conducts accident and incident investigations. Reviews and understands all project-specific, customer, and safety requirements; ensures compliance at project sites.Review subcontractor safety plans Creates and updates safety plans. Ensures proper reporting from employees (JHA’s, tailboards, etc.)Manages project roster and ensures adequate training for all field personnel.Performs any other duties assigned. Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
