SUMMARY

This position performs technical duties in the fields of industrial hygiene, safety engineering, environmental protection, and other related duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConducting industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilitiesDeveloping and teaching safety and environmental training sessionsServing as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all Oshkosh Corporation locationsMaintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrationsAssist with gathering and reporting on company injury statisticsAssist with Oshkosh Corporation Safety and Environmental Compliance Program reviewPerform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSAssociate’s degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field1-plus years of environmental and/or safety experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBackground in environmental regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data
