Sales Development Representative
Introduction RedSeal is seeking a focused, high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Marketing team and play a key role in customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will be experienced with high call volumes and will have a solid background generating interest and qualifying sales opportunities. This position reports to the Business Development Manager. The SDR is a critical driver of sales activity, developing leads through the nurture and qualification funnel and into the sales pipeline. Working closely with the field sales team, the SDR will focus on engaging prospects within targeted accounts, presenting the RedSeal value proposition, determining if there is a fit, and then advancing the conversation to the field sales team. Responsibilities In this role, you will: + Drive pipeline generation and engage with sales on prospecting strategy for large enterprise sales opportunities. + Identify and contact multiple buyers at potential enterprise clients through client research and buyer mapping. + Digitally source new sales opportunities through multi-platform outreach + Contact warm leads through utilizing RedSeal’s sales and marketing tools to engage with high-performance outbound calls and emails. + Follow-up on marketing generated cold and warm leads to further the sales process. + Create and maintain Salesforce database of current and potential customers. + Convey RedSeal’s position, value, and differentiation to different levels of prospect contacts. + Qualify prospects’ sales readiness and transition the conversation to field sales. + Set meetings against goals and objectives set by leadership. + Staying informed about competing products and services Required Qualifications/Skills + 2+ years of SDR experience in SaaS (preferably in cybersecurity) + Proven success in outbound sales qualification of large enterprise accounts + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, and digital sales tools for efficient outbound prospecting and an aptitude for learning new technologies. Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, and HubSpot a plus + Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day + Excellent verbal and written communications skills + Strong listening and presentation skills + Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively + Team player who works collaboratively across functions + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Other Details + This position is remote.
