We are growing fast and looking to hire a Sales Director to grow our sales team as our first seller outside of the U.S. and focusing on the European market. From your first day, you will be able to make a valuable contribution to the team. This is a rare role in that it will have the opportunity to be part of our transformation in a startup environment, all with the backing of an established and trusted industry provider. We are focused on growth, scrappiness, and innovation, and looking for someone who has the drive and passion to help us put it all together and crush it in market.

We are seeking a high performing individual with strong initiative and a passionate drive for data and the programmatic space to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be motivated to play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at brands, agencies, and publishers, and helping them derive value from Proximic by Comscore’s best in class audience and contextual targeting assets.

What You’ll Do:

Manage our International agency, publisher and platform sales efforts with a drive to consistently meet and exceed revenue expectations, ensuring a pipeline of new business.Identify sales opportunities across the Proximic business with key partners by prospecting within your market and uncovering new opportunitiesHunt new contacts / prospect new clients within named prospect account listHelp shape our International buy and sell-side strategy including leveraging the use of contextual audiences to combat signal loss, bid enrichment, and inventory packaging to drive revenue.Educate and reinforce Comscore’s value proposition through key messaging and providing deeper understanding of benefits to clients of Proximic’s solutionsAct as programmatic subject matter expert: partner with Comscore measurement sales counterparts to uncover new opportunities and support account growthUnderstand the evolving market, including buyer needs, programmatic industry trends, and the competitive landscapeMaintain and establish strategic relationships with clients to bolster the relationships the existing sales team has built and identify strategic partnerships

What You’ll Need:

3-5 years’ direct quota-carrying sales experience in digital media, programmatic, data driven targeting, or ad tech/mar tech spaceTrack record and demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales goalsExperience in the programmatic and/or ad tech space or advertising data vendorsRobust working knowledge of the advertising technology and programmatic landscape and ecosystem (DSP's, SSP's, DMP's, Ad Servers, 3rd Party Data)Demonstrated success in growing and retaining business. Highly skilled in building trust by understanding client objectives and recommending best practicesAbility to quickly grasp and adapt in a fast-paced technology, data-driven environmentStrategic thinkerInitiative to grow and retain businessSense of humor and can-do attitude are a mustRolodex of industry contactsExcellent people skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and third partiesFits with our firm ‘no jerks, no matter what’ hiring policy
