What the role is

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring an optimal B2B sales, distribution and revenue generation through corporate, MICE or Group clients for the accomodation, f&b, wellness and experience facilities.

This position reports to the Commercial Director APAC and will be implementing Country Level Sales strategies and following corporate procedures. Knows very well the market and will be performing business development and account management for Thailand source market selling primarily the Thailand properties, primarily F&B.

What you will be doing

Create, manage and execute B2B sales actions plan and forecast for the region/country.Achieve revenue goals for all products (accommodation, F&B, Explore, Cowork, Wellness)Manage, retain and grow established customers (individual) and groups (group business)Responsible for all sales processes at region/country level and synergies with other country or global locations.Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.Oversee the customer experience for fam trips, and educational visits for customersCross-selling of products (i.e. Explore products to other businesses locally)Upselling and cross-selling in location level to optimize revenue per customerOpen new B2B sales channels and manage existing onesGroup sales conversion, turnover and operational supportCreate local level packages based on special events and local experiences offered (lead the collaboration with country and global level sales teams)Close local level deals for groups and packages (corporate offsites, student groups, etc.) with the help of country and global teams when neededSourcing new tour products and destinations to meet consumer demands.Prospect new clients e.g. Tour Operators, Corporate, DMCs, Travel Agencies and Group operator.Ensure all staff are properly trained on Selina products, and how to sell and cross-sell them.Provide sales performance reports the country and regional leadership on tracking progress against targets, successes and challengesWork with Selina teams to establish local partnerships to drive location revenue including events and sponsorshipProvide sales guidance and assistance across location so everyone is supporting the revenue generation efforts (reception, F&B employees etc.)Use CRM to log activity, opportunities and closed/won deals MarketingAnalyze market trends and data and provide reports with conclusions

What you need for the role

Degree in Sales or Business AdministrationLocal hospitality Market knowledgeHotel revenue management knowledgeWorking with Tour Operations knowledgeForecasting and budgetingEnglish proficiency and local languageMinimum 3 years in sales managementPrevious experience in sales in hospitality is a plusTime Management, Creativity and Cultural Sensitivity SkillsRevenue and Profit OrientedPrevious experience with community engagementExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAble to work independently and creatively to close new sales opportunitiesAble to work and collaborate in a matrix environmentStrong negotiation and relationship management skills
