What You'll Do Identify accurate estimates of rebar material, equipment, and labor for a project Evaluate complex project requirements and suggest potential value engineering ideas Submit complete proposals to clients in a timely manner which meets both the company and clients requirements Follow up with clients to ensure our proposals meet their expectations while attempting to gather the necessary information to submit the final proposal Successfully negotiate contracts Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Area Effectively work with other CMC functions to ensure outstanding customer service Ensure a smooth transition of projects to team members Ability to lead and motivate the sales team and drive accountability and engagement What You'll Need General knowledge of estimating, detailing and project management Ability to read blueprints and contracts Business / financial acumen Proficient in MS Office Suite Excellent Communication (written and verbal) Ability to articulate the financial drivers of clients Initiative and drive in pursuing customers and building long term working relationships Strong negotiation skills Meet critical deadlines and handle changing priorities Scheduling/Planning Problem solving and time management skills Follow through/quick to respond Experience with Commercial, Retail, Heavy Civil & Bridge projects Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% on a regular basis, including over night stays Abililty to manage and lead a team Your Education Bachelor's degree in one of the following area: Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Business Administration and/or minimum 5 years in the reinforcing steel/construction industry
