Sales Representative

This position is key to Carmeuse revenue growth by connecting the organization to the market. The Sales Representative will primarily focus on identifying and developing new prospective customers within the market while also maintaining relationships with current and former clients. This role will focus on the sales of complex industrial chemical storage and feed systems to existing industrial facilities within an assigned territory in the western United States and Canada and will drive revenue growth for our Carmeuse Systems subsidiary.  The position will also develop market intelligence for the organization and will require strategic thinking, the ability to network with clients and sell as a team utilizing the applications engineering department, and the ability to travel 75-100% of the time.

Responsibilities Develop relationships with prospective clients to drive growth from new equipment supply opportunities Validate and pursue leads, both self-generated and from other parts of the organization Keep an opportunity pipeline full by ensuring that an active list of potential new prospects is compiled and constantly updated in the CRM Maintain awareness of new products and service offerings and inform the market Keep abreast of customers, market conditions, and competing technologies, providing input to support development of sales and marketing strategies Communicate effectively internally to provide updates and pull in resources to help design and sell new projects Maintain internal relationships with other functional groups (Applications, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc) Address customer concerns in collaboration with other departments/functional areas Conduct activity and performance reporting in the CRM Strategically assess opportunities and prioritize time effectively Assist in the development of annual sales budgets and forecasts Other duties as assigned
 

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant Industrial Sales Experience 3+ years of successful industrial sales experience Business development experience in an industrial manufacturing environment a plus  Strong communications and networking skills Ability to create and present business proposals to external customers Must be willing and able to travel extensively within the US and Canada, 75-100% of the time
