SAP Functional Consultant - S4-HANA
About This Role

As an SAP Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful performance and completion of large technology programs along with the seamless transition to sustainability. In this role, you work in partnership with stakeholders across multiple functional areas as an extension of the client team and manage all aspects of a program through its entire lifecycle. You must have current or recent Bio-Pharmaceutical understanding and expertise. Strong functional knowledge of the SAP S4/HANA system. 


What You Will Work On

Manage the overall performance and delivery of large cross-functional programs in large, complex organizations.

Possess deep functional knowledge of the SAP S/4 HANA system, with a specific focus on the Plan to Deliver workstream. 

Direct procurement, supply chain management, VAT, transportation, material management, logistics, manufacturing, cold chain, and quality assurance. You will play a critical role in business integration, aligning SAP S/4 HANA's functionalities.

Manage multiple projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and budget, using or establishing the methodology, including: SDLC, Agile or Waterfall.

Act as the liaison between business and technology functions, including working closely with key stakeholders and senior management.

Develop and prioritize project requirements, deliverables and artifacts.

Facilitate training, project communication and overall change management.

Communicate with senior and executive leadership on program and project status and performance.



What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in SAP are highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, with at least 3 years focused on the life sciences or bio-pharmaceutical industry.
PMP certification is preferred; Six Sigma or similar certifications is a plus.
Fortune 500 background and/or Big Four Consulting experience is preferred.
Hands-on experience managing the overall performance and delivery of large cross-functional programs that include multiple projects, work streams, scopes, schedules, risks, issues and budgets.
Full project life cycle implementation experience with large corporate PMO systems, managing complex enterprise projects and leading and directing the work of other project leaders and/or team members.
Excellent communication skills with business members at all organizational levels, along with strong relationship and consensus building skills to work in a team environment.
Experience managing large programs consisting of many projects, such as implementations of SAP S4 HANA.
Experience leading, developing and maintaining standard project documentation, project plans, agendas, action items and deliverables, as well as ensuring adherence to PMO/Project Management Standards
What You Can Expect This role is 100% remote with required occasional travel to organization sites.   Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.  Pay Range: $110-$145/hr.
