Job Title: Therapist

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Therapist provides professional behavioral health clinical services to clients. The Therapist is an important part of the treatment team and provides case consultation and assistance to paraprofessionals associated with the client. Services are provided in school-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide all services and functions within the ethical standards of their profession and within Code of ConductAdhere to all company policies for employmentProvide professional clinical services to clients including assessment, referral, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and follow-up care in the schools, office, and community settingsCollaborate with the treatment team to ensure proper coordination and delivery of prescribed interventions and objectives, as presented in treatment planEnsure client receives individualized and age appropriate therapeutic interventions for individual, group, family, and case management services, as prescribed in the treatment planComplete all clinical and administrative documentation in a timely and ethical manner and in accordance with policiesAttend and actively participate in professional staffing sessions with the Clinical Supervisor. Be available for individual supervision as requiredProvide case consultation and assistance to paraprofessionals associated with the clientMeet billable productivity requirementsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Shall have training and demonstrate expertise regarding the treatment of persons with mental health issuesThorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles, and techniques as they relate to mental health treatment servicesDetailed knowledge of the problems encountered by persons with mental health issuesConsiderable knowledge of the methods and modalities, as well as the legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental illnessesKnowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in a mental health treatment settingAptitudes to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programCapable of communicating ideas clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to produce clear and concise reports

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Graduate degrees in Psychology, Social work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, Human Relations, or related degreeMust be licensed or candidate for licensure within their professions by their respective Oklahoma State Boards
