Overview:The Selling Event Specialist is responsible for presenting and sampling Boar’s Head Brand delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores. Job Description:Essential Functions

Selling Events

Build awareness of Boar’s Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product samplingActively promote Boar’s Head Brand products by educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary productsPossess a positive, energetic, and serving attitudeComplete additional activities or special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent3 months of experience in a customer service or similar roleBasic computer skillsExperience with food preparation is helpful but not requiredKeep work area neat and clean; exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all timesAbility to operate a slicer (will provide training)Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area Ability to transport and set-up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hoursAbility to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawlAbility to lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.; push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environmentMust have an internet enabled cell phone
