Senior Acquisition Manager - Position Description

ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Manager to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC.

Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

        The Contractor shall be familiar with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition and be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies.         The Contractor shall assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings; attend meetings and prepare minutes; and research and prepare responses to action items. Examples are, but are not limited to, the following:         Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews (QPRs)         Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, or Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B).          Shipbuilder Program Reviews, including Post-Award Conferences and logistics meetings.
Foreign Customer Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Financial Management Reviews (FMRs).

Experience Requirements:

        10 years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 7+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management.         DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g., Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); supervisory; ship building experience.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management Discipline. Master’s degree in engineering or business management Discipline Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred.  Engineer Duty Officer Qualification preferred. DAWIA Level III preferred.
