Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Analog Design Engineer  for a direct hire/permanent role in Gaithersburg, MD.  This role will work collaboratively onsite/in the office Monday-Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options). 

 

In this role, you will be involved in the the development and support of disruptive products for fixed, aeronautical, maritime, and land mobile satellite applications

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design and development of electronic modules and assemblies from requirements through design, validation, and productionPerform performance and cost tradeoff analyses, simulations, and evaluate new components and technologiesPerform integration of wireless circuits and systemsWork with lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal generators

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related technical field5+ years of experience in design and development of analog boards or systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microwave, or Antenna designs or a related technical fieldGood working knowledge of communications theoryHands-on prototyping and debugging experience testing complex subsystemsExperience using HFSS, ADS or similar simulation toolsExperience in telecom or satcom industryFamiliarity with high speed digital designExcellent communication skills
