Key Responsibilities:

The Digital Risk and Compliance Senior Analyst is part of a Cybersecurity team that is accountable for ensuring delivery of organizational goals and is responsible for leading the implementation of the Digital Risk and Compliance programs. The Senior Analyst will lead efforts to evaluate cybersecurity data and system protection controls for United. The Senior Analyst provides ongoing support to ensure compliance targets and business strategies are delivered in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements, risk appetite, organizational risk practices, and evolving business practices. The Senior Analyst maintains ongoing relationships with the Risk and Compliance teams, Digital Technology teams, and other Cybersecurity and business teams for information sharing, and to identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate solutions to meet cybersecurity and compliance objectives.

Communicate complex information, concepts, and metrics in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and visual means, and tailored to the audience including to multiple levels of leadershipCollaborate with Digital Technology and business teams, as well as other internal/external partners to build relationships supporting accountabilitiesPerform regulatory compliance and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance and cyber risksProvide guidance on regulatory expectations, industry norms, and appropriate controlsConduct various internal and external audits/assessments such as General Data Protection Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Payment Card Industry, Sarbanes-Oxley. Conduct reviews of external security and compliance assessmentsDevelop and implement policies, standards in support of cybersecurity activities, and aligned to company or organizational requirementsLead engaging and valuable learning opportunities to the global workforce, that reduce cyber risk for the businessThese programs include, immersive training (tabletop exercises, lunch & learns), micro-learnings (email, surveys, media-based communications, etc.), and incentivized training and cyber remediation programs (cyber certifications, reward programs, etc.)Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, policies, and related guidance to implement or enhance processes or programs, and to identify gaps in support of cybersecurity responsibilities

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relatedAt least 4 years of related experienceProficient skills in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and tenetsSkilled in communicating with all levels of management (e.g., interpersonal skills, approachability, effective listening skills, proper use of style and language for the audience)Skilled at interpreting patterns of noncompliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and/or overall effectiveness of the enterprise’s cybersecurity programAbility to perform in a dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Pay range: $100,000 to $148,000 Job
