Senior API Engineer, API Platform Team

As a member of the API Platform team, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing and developing the API’s that power our SimpleSync platform. But we don’t stop there!  We are developer advocates that maintain the client libraries and CLI to enable a better user experience when interacting with our API’s.

You will work with an extremely talented and accomplished team in the live video streaming space. You will gain in-depth knowledge on multiple and highly scalable, end-to-end live streaming platforms.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

Developing our SimpleSync API that is used by all of our customersReview and assess product requirements, develop time estimates, and break down work into manageable tasksDesign, implement, and deploy new live video streaming featuresCreate, test, and document services and their operational processCollaborate across the company to define, design, build and improve critical streaming systemsCollaborate with and provide feedback to backend teams responsible for the APIs and other services supporting video playbackDesign stable, maintainable software solutions to meet product requirementsEntrepreneurial mindset as this person will dabble in many platforms.
