Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Bridge Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Serve in a lead technical role on bridge design and load rating projectsPerform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projectsWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable) box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projectsServe as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, and supervise more junior engineers in the performance of engineering tasksPerform business development/marketing for bridge project related pursuitsPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degreeMinimum 10 years bridge design and load rating experienceCA PEExperience in seismic design and familiar with Caltrans seismic design practice.Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office software, GEOPAK, AutoCAD and MicroStationExperience using structural analysis programs and bridge design softwareDemonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teamsProject management skills desirableStrong communication skills and willing to work in a team environmentMust be comfortable being viewed as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design and have proven background of technical leadership on these types of projectsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Structural EngineeringExperience with tunnel structuresFamiliarity with engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge

The expected compensation range for this position is $112,420.00 - $182,500annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
