Senior Business Analyst, Sales (On-site)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Senior Business Analyst role is crucial in driving strategic decision-making within the residential and commercial fiber internet sales and marketing operations. This position plays a pivotal role in synthesizing data, collecting competitive data & market research, and providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. The Senior Business Analyst's proficiency in sales analytics, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration will be vital in refining Dobson Fiber’s sales strategies and propelling customer growth initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Conduct comprehensive sales and marketing data analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use analytical tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from data. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track key metrics related to sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer behavior. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define objectives, develop strategies, and measure the success of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth. Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, market research, and customer feedback. Work closely with the product team to provide input on product features, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans. Assist in developing sales forecasts, budgets, and performance targets. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders clearly and compellingly. Act as a subject matter expert on sales and marketing analytics, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the organization. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sales and marketing analytics best practices. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience, focusing on sales and marketing analytics. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, sales Force, Python, and Arc GIS. Experience with machine learning and AI is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment with a collaborative and results-oriented approach. Experience in the telecommunications or internet service provider industry is a plus.
