UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Cobol/IMS Developer for a hybrid position in New York, NY. Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 2 days onsite in New York, NY. Position: The Senior Cobol/IMS Developer will use extensive Mainframe development skills to enhance and maintain existing enterprise level payroll applications and provide continuous production support. SCOPE OF SERVICES: + Provide support of production and development environments for the New York City Payroll Management Systems (PMS) with interfaces to NYCAPS, City Time, and FMS. + Perform activities related to technical design, coding and unit testing of enhancements and defect corrections for PMS. + Design/Architect web-based applications. + Propose/Provide solutions to complex requirements. + Resolve development and production issues.
