Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Facility Construction Inspector, we'll count on you to:

Demonstrate familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes for buildings and facilities including conveyances such as escalators elevators.Conduct inspection of structural, electrical, architectural, mechanical elementsCollaborate with other field representatives or project staffRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documentsConduct and document observations of construction as it progressesPerform other duties as needed under the direction of the Resident Engineer

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years experienceProficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)Proficient/familiar with use of web-based document softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work nights, holidays, and weekends and overtime as neededThis position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testingAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Technical school or college degreeRelevant Industry CertificationsAbility to interpret construction schedulesTransit experience beneficialCertified Competent Conveyance Mechanic (CCCM) - beneficial, but not required

The expected compensation range for this position is $100,713 - $143,875 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
