We are looking for experienced credit analysts who are keen to work on the US leverage loan situations across lifecycle. The senior analyst will be a key leader and driving force within a team of twelve analysts covering both performing and distressed credits, shaping coverage and helping train and develop junior analysts. 

We are seeking senior analysts with experience on primary and performing credit coverage or distressed debt and restructuring coverage. The senior analysts will be responsible for publishing credit research reports with actionable investment ideas, focusing on fundamental credit analysis, relative value analysis, and valuation. 

The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with our lawyers and other groups in generating cross-disciplinary research and analysis for our subscribers, which include top institutional asset managers, hedge funds, investment banks, trading desks, and financial and legal advisors. The role involves a high degree of client interaction.

Responsibilities 

Ensure coverage of a portfolio of US performing leveraged loan borrowers across different stages of lifecycle and lead primary analysis work Conduct fundamental credit analysis, relative value analysis and build forward looking valuation models with an aim of producing actionable investment ideas for our subscribers  As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to generate coverage ideas and to maintain an active dialogue with industry contacts. You will get direct exposure to the buy side, sell side and various advisors on a daily basis Get involved in training and mentoring other junior analysts in the team Follow industry trends in the broader market to help guide coverage  Support and collaborate with our top-tier legal analysts highlight Reorg’s value add in topical credit situations 

Requirements 

Minimum of 5+ years of credit research experience from buy side, sell side, or rating agency, with significant time spent in either a client-facing or decision-making role  Experience should include leading coverage and monitoring of credits and sectors and experience with primary market/new issues and legal documentation and/or identifying distressed debt opportunities, building cash flow projections, recovery estimates, and experience with restructuring proceedings and legal documentation Experience in building and maintaining financial and valuation models  Possess very strong technical and analytical skills as well as excellent written and oral communication abilities

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $160,000 - $200,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
