This position is for a Customer Service professional, who works under general supervision to answer basic customer inquiries on product availability and status of orders.   They will work closely with internal business units to ship product on time.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick and independent learner, communicates effectively and professionally, and can efficiently manage changing priorities in a manufacturing environment. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs duties related to overall customer service that includes post-sales supportBuilds and maintains positive business relationships with key customers by providing prompt accurate serviceAssists Customer Service and sales team by managing customer Sales Orders and deliveriesManages customer returns from internal and external customersWorks with both internal and external customers to reconcile account issuesResponsible for delivery of excellent customer service through documentation, communication and coordination with both internal and external customersResponsible for managing on-time delivery to Collins internal customers by working with the operations team to ensure demands are placed, managed and delivered to Estimated Ship DateAssists in tracking order activity and alerts management and appropriate staff of potential delivery problemsWorks with appropriate team members to assist in producing reports related to customer orders and activitiesConfers with production, sales, shipping, or other personnel to expedite and/or trace shipmentsCandidate is required to work on-site

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experienceMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
