About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis of current and emerging cyber threats, including threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)Develop and maintain comprehensive threat profiles to understand attacker motivations and capabilitiesManage and curate threat intelligence feeds from internal and external sourcesEnrich and analyze threat data using advanced techniques to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs)Translate raw intelligence into actionable insights and reports for security teamsCollaborate with security operations, incident response, and IT teams to integrate threat intelligence into security processesDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships with threat intelligence providers and industry organizationsStay abreast of the latest cyber threat trends and developmentsProvide threat briefings and security awareness to internal stakeholdersDevelop and maintain threat intelligence processes and proceduresOn occasion, provide extended shift coverage with minimal travel required. Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Information/Network Security, Cyber Security or related field intelligence (CTI) or a related field OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree10-12 years of expererience with 6+ years in cyber threat intelligence

 

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

Proven experience in threat research, analysis, and reportingStrong understanding of cyber threat actor motivations, TTPs, cyber kill chain, vulnerability threat intelligence, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworkExperience working with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and other security toolsExcellent analytical, research, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong desire to stay current on the evolving cyber threat landscapeAbility to develop or recommend analytic approaches or solutions to problems and situations for which information is incomplete or for which no precedent exists.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to take initiative and use prior knowledge and experience to understand new or unfamiliar security applications and open-source tools.Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts—both internal and external to the organization—to leverage analytical and technical expertise.At least one certification from the CSSP Incident Responder Category (CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CHFI, CySA+ **, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER, PenTest+)

Experience with malware analysisExperience with security automation and scriptingExperience in the SLTT industryExperience with cyber intrusion investigationsExperience with insider threat investigationsFamiliar with threat-hunting methodologiesFamiliar with threat modeling and adversary simulationFamiliar with interpreting software code
