As a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, qualified candidates will serve as Level 2 support for PC Help Desk issues. They will be charged with ensuring issues are solved the first time and in a timely manner by monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the performance of Help Desk resources.

 

The Senior Desktop Support Analyst will develop and maintain our managed desktop software environment. The candidate must be prepared to be in charge of creating, testing, and deploying workstation images and software packages. Candidates with extensive knowledge of software packaging and deployment would be highly considered.

 

Resposibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

This position plays a role in all facets of desktop management, including software distribution, security, and asset management.Prioritization of issues Manage projects throughout their lifecycle Provide reports to management on Help Desk activityTrain end-users and provide support for Help Desk AnalystsTravel of 20–30%

 

Qualifications Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 years relevant experience or related degreeMust have experience working in WAN environment, providing end-user support, Installation, and repair of hardware and software.Superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsMastery knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10+) Advanced knowledge of data networking, LAN, and WAN conceptsAdvanced knowledge of systems security and account provisioningProven analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly self-motivated and directedExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related degreeDesired certifications: MCSA, GIAC Experience with Microsoft SCCMExperience with Intune Endpoint ManagerExperience with Virtual DesktopsExperience using AD/Group Policy to manage a multisite networkExperience with PowerShell, VBScript, and task automation through scripting.Engineering industry experience a plus
