Job overview and responsibilities

This position is hybrid (not remote), two days in the Chicago Office per week. 

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the development of critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This role will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, this role will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use groundbreaking technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily and will be relied upon to help take the team to the next level from a technological standpoint.

Manages and participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and designServe as technical expert on development projects. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirementsSupport, maintain, and document software functionalityIdentify and evaluate new technologies for implementationAnalyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as neededManagers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirementsCollaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degreeComputer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field5+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use5+ years of experience in SDL/RWS Tridion or equivalent experience in other Content Management systems such as AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, Wordpress, etc.Provide leadership and mentorship to developers on teamProvide project status and project needs to project collaboratorsStrong understanding of technical architectural design patternsExperience working with headless CMS implementation5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHubStrong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design PatternsExcellent knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application DevelopmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionPreferredAirlines industry experience is a plusAWS highly
