Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Design Engineer for a direct hire/permanent role in Germantown, MD.  This role will work onsite/in the office Monday- Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options).  

In this role, you will:

 

Develop innovative Consumer, Enterprise, and Aeronautical hardware solutions for satellite-based communications systems in the areas of analog and digital circuit designParticipate in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology for networking and communications products and systemsAnalyze customer needs and establish product objectives, specifications, and technical solutions to ensure products satisfy customer requirements and deliverablesContribute to all aspects of the product life cycle (concept, development, integration, qualification, acceptance, delivery, and maintenance)Work effectively across multiple corporate functions including business groups, Engineering, manufacturing, and field support

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering6+ years of experience in Digital/Analog circuit design

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer EngineeringKnowledge of System Integrity & Power Integrity analysisExperience working in a communications industryExperience qualifying products with high-speed interfaces
