Reports To:    Financial Planning & Analysis Director (FP&A)
Status:            Salary

Under the direction of the Financial Planning & Analysis Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will manage and drive improvement in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares long-range plans, annual plans and quarterly forecastsPrepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgetsServes as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planningPerforms weekly cash flow analysis and forecastingPrepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year resultsServes as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planningDevelops KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboardCollaborates with Finance team on Ad Hoc projects involving company financial analysis and reportingRegular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absencesOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field5+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experienceCPA or MBA preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build relationships with other parts of the business Strong business acumen and judgmentAbility to effectively simplify and communicate financial issues with associates and vendors outside of FinanceProficient in Microsoft Office products; expertise in MS ExcelGreat Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred

Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time   Ability to work independently and in a team environmentProfessional presence is requiredOccasional travel may be required

The Senior Financial Analyst position is a full-time, salaried position.
