Senior Financial Analyst

At Behr Paint Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial operations and strategic direction of our organization. In this position, you will be in charge of managing the financial operations of assigned business functions at Behr. You will closely work with executive leaders of Business Units, and other important internal stakeholders to assist in the overall financial and strategic aspects of the businesses under your supervision. Moreover, you will have the chance to collaborate with the President and CFO of Behr, along with various Masco Corporate departments.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in financial analysis, business planning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and be able to effectively communicate financial information to senior management. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of company-wide annual and long-term plans, as well as processes for strategic planning.Analyze and synthesize plans and results across multiple business functions to identify and explain business drivers.Support the creation of strategic plans for large-scale enterprise projects.Conduct routine and ad hoc management reporting and analysis of key performance indicators.Monitor, coordinate, and conduct system audits to maintain data integrity.Experience and Qualifications:BS / BA in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field required.CPA or MBA preferred.2 - 4 years of relevant accounting, finance and/or FP&A corporate professional experience required.Big 4 accounting experience preferred.Strong Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint skills required.Proven experience working with and presenting information to senior management required.Experience with SAP system preferred.­Experience with SAP Business Objects Analysis preferred.­Experience with Hyperion HFM Financial Management system preferred.Demonstrates team-oriented mindset.Excellent attention to detail; highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proven comfort with large data sets and the tools to manage large data sets.Self-motivated and proactive; demonstrated drive for success and passion for growth and development.Strong business and financial acumen.Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity.Here’s what we offer you:Competitive pay and bonus opportunities.Accrue 15 paid days off the first year.401(k) retirement plan with 4% match.Competitive health plans for individuals and families.Check out behr.com/careers to view a comprehensive list of our benefits and perks.
