Synthego is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting and Revenue Accountant. As a key member of the Corporate Accounting team, this person will have an emphasis in processing and reviewing complex revenue contracts for proper revenue recognition as well as assisting with revenue forecasting and financial reporting. This role is an individual contributor who will directly report to the technical accounting manager.What You'll Do: Review key revenue arrangements for appropriate treatment in accordance with ASC 606; draft accounting memos to summarize analysis and conclusionPartner with legal, sales operation, product manager and project manager teams to assist with: Revenue forecasting, contract negotiation, pricing and deal closing, and driving operational efficienciesParticipate in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparing journal entries, revenue flux, preparing financial statement disclosures and reconciliationsAssist with interim and year end audit requestsAssist with process streamlining and improvement, including revenue process automation and establish best practices across functions for revenue processAssist with internal control design and implementation and preparing control documentations for revenue processSupport the production and preparation of financial information required for filings of the Company’s financials with external stakeholdersAbout You: Bachelor’s of higher degree in accountingMinimum 3 years’ experience in accounting/audit; public accounting experience is a plusActive CPAGood understanding of US GAAP and preferably experiences with ASC 606Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility and willingness to meet business critical deadlinesStrong time management and organizational skillsCompany Perks & Benefits Equity options Medical, dental, and vision benefits401k ProgramPaid parental leaveFlexible paid time off$120,000 - $140,000 a yearBase salary listed is dependent on experience.
