Senior HR Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst (Remote)

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth, we are in need of a Senior HR Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst.

The Senior HR Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation and support of the advanced compensation module in Workday, with the goal of providing excellent system reliability, performance, availability and overall system optimization. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the HR, Compensation, and Payroll teams to support continuous improvement including supporting the bi-annual releases of the Workday system.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading and facilitating the design and architecture of the advanced compensation module(s) in the Workday system including – creating and maintaining the compensation grid configuration, creating complex compensation eligibility rules, custom bonus calculations, long-term cash incentive programs, and compensation letter configuration using Workday documents. Core compensation knowledge such as grade and grade profile configuration, compensation business process design and configuration, job catalog maintenance, earning and compensation codes, claw backs, compensation plan creation and maintenance also required.Working knowledge of report writing, business processes, configurable security, organizations, and complex calculated fields also a plus.Manage, develop, and consult with the functional teams including close ties with integrations, core HCM, and payroll to incorporate the requirements and processes within the Workday system.Provide functional leadership to the project team by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues. Review proposed changes to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement. Partner with compensation SME to determine how to systemically support compensation programs in Workday.Work closely with the System Integrator as well as other vendors that contribute to the overall HRIS application and infrastructure landscape, including managing escalations to management as appropriate.Reviews feedback from stakeholders and implements solutions that work best for the team.Identify GAPs in business requirements during early stages of the project.Ensure there is proper documentation across the design that meets organization and audit guidelines.Support the Workday system by overseeing the configuration moves through the environments, scheduling of batch jobs and reports, and contributing to the maintenance of the Workday system to ensure business continuity.Routinely review, plan, and apply the Workday releases and ensure the system is kept updated with both optional and required configuration updates.
