Senior Information Security Analyst

As our Senior Information Security Analyst, you will be part of a team that protects Erickson Senior Living’s information assets.  Every day you will gather and analyze threat intelligence and respond to any reported security events including triaging phishing escalations. To thrive in this position, you must have extensive experience leading incident response efforts, analyzing information available, understanding impact, promptly taking the appropriate action and communicating effectively with relevant parties.

You will be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support. This is an onsite position located in Catonsville, MD with an option for two remote days per week.  Travel is minimal but may be required for this role.

We’re looking for an Senior Information Security Analyst with experience:

Continuously monitoring networks for security breaches and analyzing security alerts, events, and incidents to identify potential threats or vulnerabilitiesGathering and analyzing threat intelligence from various sources, staying informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniquesUtilizing and maintaining security applications such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Cloud Access Security Broker(CASB),  and Incident Detection and Response (IDR)Developing security-related automations using PythonSupporting IT Security Governance by representing and testing security requirements on projects and enhancement deliverablesProviding one-on-one or group mentoring to team members and partners on information security best practicesDocumenting investigations and standard operating procedures via Incident Response reports, event tickets and Knowledge Based Articles (KBAs)Working in collaboration with cross functional teams including customers and vendors

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience

CISSP Certification or a degree in cyber related field is a plus.
