CYBRA Corporation is looking for a highly motivated senior software developer to participate in the design and programming of our products.

The primary focus will be on the design and development of CYBRA’s auto-ID solutions. Clear and complete documentation of architecture, design, modifications, fixes, and features is essential.

For this position: You must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Requires hands-on hardware knowledge, the first ninety (90) days of which are in the office. Is a hybrid role with on-site office work. Local applicates are preferred.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or equivalent work experience.Advanced knowledge of Java, 6+ years. Knowledge of its various frameworks to libraries.Software debugging skills. Ability to identify issues with a system, and multiple solutions to address issues and selecting / implementing the best solution.Ability to work with customers to assist in gathering requirements based on their needs.Ability to mentor a small team of junior and middle specialists.Ability to break units of work into manageable sizes and assist in planning execution of the tasks.Contribute to distribution of responsibilities between team members.Ability to automate work processes.Knowledge of cloud technologies. Preferably Amazon services and Terraform scripts to automate deployments.Ability to create user interfaces and web products. Spring Boot (v2 up) and/or Angular (v7 up) 4+ years. Preferably Proficient in the current angular materials library.Proficient at testing / writing tests at various levels. 4+ years’ experience with source control systems, defect tracking systems, unit test frameworks.Ability to plan / develop scalable products that increase the functionality of the entire system. Product design and contribute to architecture discussions. Preferability System or Application design 2+ years.Preparation of reports on completed and ongoing tasks.Drive to meet deadlines. Ability to foresee complications that may impact deadlines.Proficient in Java JSP, J2EE, XML, RESTful, SOA and Web Services.Proficient in JDBC and SQL, preferably using MySQL, ORACLE or SQL Server.Well versed in latest program design techniques & software engineering best practices.Outstanding problem-solving abilities.Good multi-tasker capable of juggling numerous assignments.Strong organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience with system support throughout its life cycle.Experience with client facing meetings and the ability to diplomatically shield your team and the company.

Would Be Helpful If You Also Have:

Familiarity with bar code printing and scanning.Understanding of RFID encoding and scanning.Primary platforms of interest are Windows, Linux, Unix/AIX and IBM iSeries.Experience with Agile, Kanban, and Scrum SDLC processes. Standup meetings are required.
